Thanks to everyone that came out to our Trunk-or-Treat event this weekend! We want to give a special shout out to Mrs. Amos, our high school student council, and our high school PFO for putting together a memorable event.

On November 5th we will have our next PFO meeting at 6pm in the middle school plaza. Our PFO meetings are opportunities for our staff and parents to collaborate on activities and events for our students. We encourage everyone to come out and support!

Weekly Updates

It has been another great week at AFIA! Today marks the end of the first 6 weeks! We are proud of all of our students for their efforts. Just a reminder that Monday is a student holiday. Enjoy your 3 day weekend!

Taco Tuesday has been moved to Taco Wednesday. Tacos will be sold out of the high school plaza on Wednesday October 10th. Thanks to High School PFO for their support with this!

We are excited to announce that our school will be working in conjunction with Crayola. It’s called Crayola ColorCycle – an awesome new program devised to turn used markers into energy!
The markers will be sent to a facility where they will be converted into clean fuel. This fuel can be used to power vehicles, heat homes, cook meals and more!
Please help support our efforts by dropping off any used markers you may have around your classroom or house. (Please note: They will accept all brands of plastic markers, not just Crayola markers.  That includes dry erase markers and highlighters!) A special thank you to Mrs. Grant for getting our school set up with this program!

Frosty Frog will be back on campus Friday October 12. We will have certain items that you can pre-order from Frosty Frog prior to Friday. Order forms will be sent home next week.
